The Wedding Ring Experience

Pher and I found my wedding ring at Jared's Gallery of Jewelers and it is beautiful.  At first I thought it was fun to say, "He got it at Jared's" but this didn't last long.  After the sales person lied to us about putting a new crown in and ruined the FIRST ring I was a little upset.  We got a new ring and had to size it from a 7 to a 4 3/4.  Who knew this would also be a problem.  When we got the SECOND ring it was the right size but crooked and two diamonds were missing.  Apparently when they sized the ring it put too much pressure on the top and all the diamonds are loose in their prongs.  So now ring number THREE is ordered in my correct size and will be here two weeks before the wedding.  Now our motto is, "He got it at Jared's, and fixed at VIP Jeweler's". What a crazy experience!  (The picture is of us with the first ring, before we knew what we were in for.)

Our Engagement Night!

For my birthday Pher took me up to Logan for dinner at Hamilton's Steak and Seafood.  It was so much fun! He was planning on asking me to mary him at the restaurant, but I kind of messed that up.  He was starting into his whole speech about rings and how you receive a engagement ring than a wedding ring and than a wedding band.... However, I wouldn't let him finish I told him I only wanted one ring and not all different bands. (Yes, I'm stubborn!)  So, after dinner he proposed outside of the restaurant.  I felt so bad afterwards for not letting him finish his speech.  Overall, It turned out perfect! I'm engaged and I can't wait to marry my best friend!

Happy Easter!

For Easter Pher and I went to his aunt's house for dinner which was delicious! Afterwards we we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Murphy's house.  This is a tradition that we do every year, but this year I had Pher to come with me.  We played games and ate more food.  It was lots of fun as you can see from our pictures.  (My mom had us hold up Easter objects so that we would know it was Easter when we looked at the pictures. lol We love you mom!) 

Engagement

Pher and I have been really busy lately.  He is working hard at Global Satellite selling Dish Network and Direct TV and I will be graduating with my masters in Social Work this May.  Every spare minute we have we are working on wedding plans.  Although, I think it's a lot more fun for me than Pher.:) We just found a house in the middle of Salt Lake and we can't wait to start decorating.  Or at least I can't wait. Busy! Busy!
